Matteo Bini

Matteo Bini has been an atelierista with the Istituzione of Preschools and Infant-toddler Centres, municipality of Reggio Emilia, since 2008.
Currently he works in the role of atelierista at “La Villetta” municipal preschool in Reggio Emilia.

For Reggio Children he collaborates on the realisation of publishing projects, and on professional development initiatives through participating in seminars and workshops in Italy and other countries.

Matteo completed his arts diploma at Reggio Emilia’s “Gaetano Chierici” art institute, and went on to continue his studies with a teacher’s diploma in Physical and Sports Education at Bologna University’s Physical Education Institute.

He is a Specialist Coach in Athletics and Jumping, a swimming instructor, and a coach in motor activity for children and the elderly. He also consults for Sports Clubs and Public Administrations on organising and running sports events in various Italian cities.

Matteo has participated in several educational and professional learning projects with Reggio Emilia’s municipal Istituzione of Preschools and Infant-toddler Centres, and with Reggio Children.
