Lucia Colla has been a Teacher Educator for the Istituzione of Preschools and Infant-toddler Centres of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia since 2007.Colla collaborates with Reggio Children on the realisation of publishing projects and professional learning journeys, through participation in seminars and workshops in Italy and abroad.
From 1990 to 2005 she was a teacher in the “Luigi Bellelli” infant-toddler centre, Istituzione of Preschools and Infant-toddler Centres of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia.
She is a Teacher-Educator at the Centre for Documentation and Educational Research, Istituzione of Preschools and Infant-toddler Centres of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia.
For several years Colla has had the role of co-ordinating journeys of work on the theme of Participation, with particular attention focused on the dimension of policy and politics in early childhood and early childhood services.
For several years she edited “La Mongolfiera”, the newsletter of City Childhood Councils in Reggio Emilia’s municipal infant-toddler centres and preschools.
She founded and is a member of Dialoghi sulla Scuola (Dialogues on School), a group made up of parents, teachers, and citizens who care intensely about educational themes.
