Daniela Lanzi is a Pedagogista, Responsible for the Complex Organisation Unit of the Istituzione of Preschools and Infant-toddler Centres of Reggio Emilia Municipality, and the pedagogista for the “Nilde Iotti” municipal preschool and the Agorà Parents’ Association. For Reggio Children, she collaborates on realising projects involving publishing, exhibitions, and professional learning, in Italy and abroad.
1990, Degree in Pedagogy, Parma University, Italy.
1985, Educator in Reggio Emilia’s municipal “Gianni Rodari” infant-toddler centre.
1996 - Pedagogista in the Pedagogical Co-ordination of the Istituzione of Preschools and Infant-toddler Centres of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia.
Currently, Responsible for the Complex Organisation Unit.
Pedagogista of the municipal “Nilde Iotti” infant-toddler centre, and Agorà Parents’ Association.
2004 – 2010, Co-ordinator of the Project for exchange and professional learning between educational experiences (infant-toddler centres, preschools, integrated services) as part of the Convention between the Emilia Romagna Region and the Municipality of Reggio Emilia, involving 35 municipal, state, co-operative, and private early years centres.
Representative of the Pedagogical Co-ordination of the Istituzione of Preschools and Infant-toddler Centres of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia in: Pedagogical Co-ordination of the Province of Reggio Emilia, Reggio Emilia’s municipal Observatory of Families, and the Project Group with City Social Services.
For Reggio Children, Lanzi collaborates on realising projects involving publishing, and professional learning journeys, through participating in seminars and workshops in Italy and abroad.
In collaboration with the Fondazione Reggio Children - Loris Malaguzzi, Lanzi is part of the F.A.C.E. (Becoming an educational community) project work group, involving schools in Reggio Emilia, Teramo, and Palermo.
