Barbara Quinti

Barbara Quinti has been an atelierista at the “Bruno Munari” municipal preschool, Istituzione of Preschools and Infant-toddler Centres of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia, since 1996. Quinti collaborates with Reggio Children on realising publishing projects, and on professional learning journeys through participating in seminars and workshops in Italy and abroad.

She took her high school Diploma at Reggio Emilia’s “Gaetano Chierici” Art Institute in 1988, and in 1992 she obtained her Fine Arts and Painting degree with Concetta Pozzati at Bologna’s Academy of Fine Arts.

She has had several exhibitions and collaborations in the arts world, with her passion for fabrics and fashion leading to collaborations with dance companies.

She has participated in and collaborated on several research projects and professional learning projects run by the Istituzione of Preschools and Infant-toddler Centres of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia and by Reggio Children.
